Turf Quiz League

This term the Turf is starting its inaugural quiz league. The quiz runs as normal each week with 3 cash prizes and a gallon of beer given away each time, but teams' scores are also entered into the league which runs over 8 weeks, until the 10th of June. After the quiz on the 10th of June prizes will be given out: £100 for the highest cumulative overall score and a bottle of sparkling wine for the highest cumulative score in each of the 6 main types of round (General Knowledge, Dr. Martin's Round, Art History and Literature, Science, Music and Film). In order to spread the joy around, we are decreeing that no team can win more than 2 prizes (ie. either the £100 and a bottle, or 2 bottles).

Beer festival and May Day shenanigans

For those of you who don't know it already - we're having a beer festival next week!

Turn up from 11am on Thursday the 1st May all the way until 11pm on Saturday to drink your way through 40 great brews.

And if you're planning on being out on May Day morning, don't forget we'll be open from 6am until 8am, serving great beer and tasty breakfast baguettes. Bring in spring with a bang at the Turf.
